September has brought plenty of exciting things to ARC Space — from new faces and member perks to creative events, community celebrations and some very good reasons to get together.

We’re ending September in a BIG WAY!
ARConnect & ARCtoberfest is coming to ARC Space on Friday 25th September, bringing together our members, local businesses, friends and the wider Nottingham community for an evening of networking, street food, music and good vibes.
Our End of Month Socials have always been a great opportunity to meet new people and make connections, but this month we’re going back to our roots with a bigger focus on networking and bringing the wider ARC community together.
Whether you’re already part of ARC, curious about coworking, looking to meet other local businesses or simply fancy a drink and a chat, you’re very welcome.
And the best bit? It’s completely free to attend.

Pizza Pilgrims x Laceworks Craft Night
Fancy getting creative while eating free pizza? We thought so.
On Wednesday 23rd September, we’re teaming up with Pizza Pilgrims for a very special Craft Night at Laceworks.
The challenge? Decorate your own pizza box.
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or your creative abilities haven’t developed much past stick people, this one is for you. Pizza Pilgrims will be providing FREE pizza to fuel your creativity, with vouchers also up for grabs for the designs selected to feature on their wall.
There are two sessions to choose from, plus a discounted drink ticket to enjoy while you get stuck in.
It’s pizza, drinks, crafts and a midweek excuse to do something a little different.
A New Face at Kawfee
There’s a new face behind the coffee machine at Kawfee on Tuesdays!
Originally from Bari, Southern Italy, Michelangelo has been working in speciality coffee since 2011, with experience in London and Costa Rica before opening The Specialty Coffee Shop in Nottingham in 2016.
He now runs Franco Specialty Coffee, an independent Nottingham roastery, and we’re very excited to have him bringing his coffee expertise to Kawfee.
A Huge Congratulations to Nook!
And finally, a very big congratulations to Nook, our independent lifestyle store on the ground floor of ARC Space.
Less than a year after opening its doors, Nook has topped the public vote — Gift Shop of the Year Award East Midlands — a brilliant achievement just 10 months into its journey.
Nook brings together local artists and makers with shoppers looking for meaningful and sustainable alternatives to mass-produced goods. Alongside its carefully curated collection, the shop also hosts creative workshops and guest pop-ups, helping to create a space that feels genuinely connected to the local community.
The public vote is a fantastic testament to just how much of a customer favourite Nook has become in such a short time.
We’re very proud to have Nook as part of the ARC Space community and can’t wait to celebrate their achievement with them at their 1st Birthday Party on Friday 16th October!
